MergeReadyNo AI · every rule comes with proof

Check your first pull request before a maintainer has to.

Paste an issue you want to work on, or your pull request. MergeReady reads this repo's own rules (its configs, PR template, commit history and CONTRIBUTING file) and shows what to fix, with a link to where each rule is written.

So your own comments and pull requests don't count as someone else's claim.

Try an example:

How it works

No AI. MergeReady reads four kinds of evidence from the repo itself, and every rule it shows comes with proof: the exact words and a link to where they are written, or for commit history, a count and a link to those commits.

  1. 01

    Repo config

commitlint settings, DCO setup and CI workflows.

The repo set these up for its own checking tools, so breaking one is red.

  2. 02

    PR template

Sections to fill in, checkboxes, the “Fixes #” field.

A miss is red only when the template clearly requires it (“must”, “required”), otherwise yellow.

  3. 03

    Commit history

Habits in the last 50 commits, like Conventional Commits or sign-offs.

A habit, not a rule, so a miss is yellow.

  4. 04

    Written guidelines

Exact sentences from CONTRIBUTING and the docs it links to.

A miss is red only when the sentence clearly requires it (“must”, “required”), otherwise yellow.

What it never does: tick a checkbox for you, guess a git command, or let an AI decide whether you pass.
